General Data Protection Regulation GDPR Policy Effective January 1, 2024.

Arizona Holistic Institute of Healing Arts (AHIHA, School) has made necessary updates to our privacy policy for GDPR compliance. AHIHA respects your privacy, and we’ll only use personal information to administer accounts and provide requested information. From time to time, we contact students and prospective students about events and offerings that may be of interest. In order to do this, we store and process personal data. You may unsubscribe from communications from AHIHA at any time.

AHIHA is committed to protecting your privacy while you visit our websites. This policy is designed to provide an explanation of the information collected from our visitors and how that information is used and disclosed.

Type & Use of Information Collected

Arizona Holistic Institute of Healing Arts collects both personal and non-personal identifying information from its visitors. The information collected is used to help us identify our target market and improve the products and services we offer our customers. The collected information is primarily used for marketing purposes and visitors may expect to receive future communication from the School.

Personal information is collected when a visitor fills out a form or otherwise provides such information on our website. Examples of personal information that may be collected are listed below.

To receive additional information on the School, you can fill out our “Information Request” form by submitting personal information including name, address, phone number, email address, etc. This information is collected so that a school representative can contact you. A phone number is also supplied for those who wish to contact the School by phone.

Our student and faculty sites may also require you to provide specific user identification information such as user name, address, email address, or student ID number. This information is collected so our school staff can contact you if necessary. Specific user identification data is also necessary to verify your identity prior to allowing access to some of these sites.

Type & Use of Information Shared

We may contract with companies or persons to provide certain services including text marketing, credit card processing, scheduling software, shipping, data analysis and management, promotional services, etc. – collectively, Service Providers. We provide our Service Providers with the information needed for them to perform these services for our business.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes; we do not buy, sell, or share text messaging opt-in information.

Security

Our Sites have reasonable security measures in place designed to protect against the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction of the information under our control.

We will take reasonable steps to ensure the data is reliable, accurate, complete and current for its intended use. Personal information collected from visitors is protected in transmission to our websites with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol encryption. Opt-Out

You may make a request to be removed from our mailing lists by contacting the school by sending your name, address and email to 2850 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson AZ 85716. If you do not wish to receive marketing emails from us, please submit a written request.

Use of the AHIHA Wi-Fi Network for On-Campus Students

AHIHA does not proactively monitor usage or sites visited on our student wireless network.

Limitations

Arizona Holistic Institute of Healing Arts may provide links to other websites. In addition, there are many websites that may link directly to Arizona Holistic Institute of Healing Arts. Arizona Holistic Institute of Healing Arts does not endorse these third party websites or the content presented on them and has no control over their privacy practices.

This privacy policy is current as of the effective date set forth above.  Arizona Holistic Institute of Healing Arts reserves the right to change this privacy policy from time to time consistent with applicable privacy laws and principles.
