Professional Massage Therapy Program
The 700-hour Professional Massage Therapy program offers a comprehensive education in massage therapy, covering anatomy, physiology, business, and ethics, plus hands-on experience at a student clinic. With this program, graduates are eligible for the Arizona Massage Therapist license and are also prepared to sit for the Massage and Bodywork Licensing exam in other jurisdictions.

Massage Therapy Program
TRAIN TO BECOME A MASSAGE THERAPIST
The 700-hour Professional Massage Therapy program provides students with rigorous, comprehensive training in the art and science of massage therapy. Complemented by Milady’s Theory & Practice of Therapeutic Massage textbook and CIMA, a digital learning platform, coursework includes human anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, pathology, medical terminology, business and ethics, integrative assessment and documentation, and various massage modalities. The curriculum furnishes a solid foundation to master many different bodywork techniques. Additionally, students will apply their broad theoretical knowledge and developing skills through hands-on experience practicing on clients at the student clinic.

The Professional Massage Therapy program provides a course of study that exceeds most state requirements, while reflecting the most current techniques and research. Graduates are eligible to apply for the State of Arizona Massage Therapist license immediately as currently there is no exam requirement by the Arizona State Board of Massage Therapy. Nevertheless, they are fully prepared and eligible to sit for the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx) that is offered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB), which may be required for licensure in other jurisdictions. Students must complete the entire program to graduate.

Per Arizona Administrative Code R4-15-302 2b, The Arizona Board of Massage Therapy approves Continuing Education sponsored by a massage therapy school or bodywork therapy school that is approved by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education.
